Molecular structure of the enzyme Hexokinase

The above structures are molecular structures of the enzyme Hexokinase. This enzyme is important in the metabolism of glucose (the only form of sugar accepted in the brain) in glycolysis. This enzyme catalyzes oxidative phosphorylation of glucose to glucose-6-phospate.

The above figures are that of the same Hexokinase enzyme molecules. The figure on the right is an enlarged version.
